If you are joining Unify to access a loan please visit unifycu.org/loans to check out our products and see if you are eligible to apply first.

Anyone over the age of 16 can join as an adult member. Under 16's are welcome to join as young savers.
To complete an application online you need to be over 18. If you are under 18 please join in one of our branches.

Membership of Unify is free but a minimum of £1 must be retained in your account at all times. There is no annual membership fee for active accounts or for young savers. A dormant member fee of £5.00 applies for adult accounts that have not been used in a 12 month period. If you wish to make an initial debit card payment online please proceed with this after your application.

We will need to confirm your identity to meet regulatory requirements. Please provide valid driving licence and passport details if you would like us to confirm this online. Please also bring your ID and address details with you the first time you visit one of our branches.

Making your first deposit

When your form has been submitted you will be asked to complete your first deposit of £5.00 to activate your new credit union account.

You will be re-directed to Worldpay to deposit via your debit card. Worldpay is a major global leader in payment processing and operates in over 40 countries. Unify Credit Union has chosen them as our provider for online card transactions.

Once your payment has been confirmed, we will process your application and send your welcome pack within 3 days.

What if I don’t wish to join online?

Alternatively, if you wish to call in to the office to join, please remember to bring two forms of identification with you when you call in.
